Barre Body® is a modern, challenging and safe Barre class that sculpts your body while providing a calorie-burning, low-impact cardio workout. Set to a  mix of upbeat music, students use a variety of props to promote the development of long, lean muscles like those associated with a dancer’s body – giving them that “barre body” look.

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a low-impact exercise that involves performing a series of movements on a mat to strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and reduce tension. Mat Pilates can be modified for any age, body type, or fitness level, and can even be practiced in a chair.

Mat Pilates exercises often involve holding movements like planks and side planks, and can also include core exercises.

Certified Instructor, Margaret may also provide options to use equipment like exercise balls, bands, or small weights to enhance the experience.

The exercises often use gravity and body weight to strengthen the arms, legs, and core, and involve breathing to control the motion.

In addition to the physical benefits, Mat Pilates can also help improve posture and support a mind-body connection. Some say that focusing on each move, your breath, and your intention can help you step away from stress and realign your thoughts.
